Knit Linen Coaster Pattern and Kits

A knit linen coaster is the perfect accessory for your table in any season. These coasters are light and airy with a gorgeous texture so they’ll keep your table safe from the moisture from your iced tea glasses in the summer and they’ll look warm and cozy in the winter with your cup of coffee or mug of hot cocoa. Plus, they’re easy to care for! It just makes me smile to see them on the table. This is a great summer pattern and project that’s easy to carry around with you! I love the sweet little picot edge detail!

You can make your own coasters with the Knit Linen Coaster Kits that are now available in my shop. They are quick to knit up and the pattern is great for all levels of knitters. If you’re an adventurous beginner, this pattern will teach you some new new skills. If you’re an experienced knitter, these will be quick to knit and they’re interesting enough to make you want to knit more. Just think about making a stack of these and twining them up in a ribbon for a lovely hostess gift (when we can finally go back to parties!).

Knit Linen Coaster

There are so many color options available. You’re sure to find one that is a perfect fit for your decor! You should be able to knit 3 or 4 coasters from one kit. Each kit includes 165 yards of Eco-Butterfly Organic Linen in your choice of colors and the Cozy Coasters knitting pattern. You can even add a size 3 circular Lykke knitting needle to the kit. Mix and match the colors to make a set of them.

Linen Yarn Colors

If you haven’t worked with linen before, you’re in for a real treat! The Eco-Butterfly Organic Linen softens as you work with it and has a beautiful stitch definition. It’s artisan fair trade, vegan, GOTS-certified low-impact dyed and unmercerized. I love this yarn and use it in a lot of my weaving, knitting and crochet projects. It’s so versatile! Some of my favorite projects I’ve made with it include the Woven Espadrilles and the Feather Earrings.

I’m loving being outside with the weather warming up, aren’t you? Add a little knit linen project to your lap and you’ll be even happier! Be well and take care.
