These Mini Crochet Bunnies are guaranteed to bring a smile to anyone’s face, and I think we all need something to smile about at the moment. With signs of spring popping up all around us, I’ve been in the mood to make bunnies! These bunnies are the perfect size to decorate your Easter treats or hook them together for a fun little garland!
The Mini Crochet Bunnies pattern brings adorable bunnies to life in three sizes – small, medium and large, or Mama, brother/sister and baby! I’ve hooked them up in a miniature size here, but you can vary that by swapping out the hook and yarn. Right now, I’m donating 10% of all sales of this pattern and kit to Meals on Wheels, who delivers food to this country’s elderly.
Crocheting these bunnies is just like eating potato chips. You can’t just make one! Dare I say that they multiply like bunnies? Wouldn’t these bunnies be adorable for a baby shower decoration or even to decorate a baby’s nursery? Or to beautifully decorate a birthday package to a little one? I have so many ideas and I can’t wait to see what you do with the ones you make.
I’ve added kits to the shop so you can make your own Mini Crochet Bunnies. The kits come with everything you need to make your own bunny garland. With the yarn that’s included, you’ll be able to make five bunnies in the three different sizes (one large, three medium and one small).
Mini Crochet Bunny Kits include:
:: 5-page PDF with detailed step-by-step photos of how to make the bunnies and connect them in a garland.
:: 22 yards of Eco-Butterfly Organic Linen
:: US 2/ 2.2 mm Steel Crochet Hook
:: Sewing Needle to Weave in Ends
:: Small Black Clippers
:: Cardboard Pillow Envelope with Twine Tie for Giving
In addition to the kits, I also offer the Mini Crochet Bunny Pattern and the linen yarn in my shop. The Eco-Butterfly Organics Fingering Weight Linen is the same linen that I have used in several other projects like my Woven Espadrilles and in my Feather Earrings. I love working with linen because it is such a versatile yarn. It’s perfect for your knitting, crochet and weaving projects because it’s easy to care for. As a result, I’m sure you’ll be seeing more linen projects from me as the weather gets warmer!
While I love working with this linen and Roan is the perfect color for these bunnies, you can experiment with other yarns to create your own colony of bunnies. I have altered the pattern I found years ago a number of different ways to suit this yarn and the shapes and sizes that I like.
Right now, I’m focused on and thinking about all the families and friends that make up my community. I’m wishing you all the best for safety and wellness. Please take care of yourselves. Soothe yourselves the best way you know. I think you all know that making things is the best way for me!!
Lots of love from here!
