A Hand Crocheted Pouf is a fast and easy way to add a gorgeous accessory to your living room. This pouf is a fabulous statement piece and they’re so fun to make. The poufs are hand crocheted so all you need is some beautiful yarn. Plus, I have created an easy-to-follow video and step by step pattern so you feel confident that you can make one (or more!) for your home.
For the grey pouf, I used the amazingly gorgeous Superfine Chunky Merino Yarn from Broadwick Fibers. This yarn is so luxurious. Working with it was a dream and it comes in a beautiful array of colors. I’m sure you’ll find the perfect one to match your decor. I love how they make this yarn. They hand dye merino roving and then felt it so the fibers won’t shed. It also means your finished pouf will be durable. This yarn would also be amazing for an arm knit blanket like my Arm Knit Ribbed Blanket or my Chunky Arm Knit Blanket. If arm crochet isn’t your thing, you could use the yarn to arm knit the Grand Pouf from Knitting Without Needles.

So I quickly whipped up the white Pouf using five strands of Cascade Magnum yesterday. You can find a kit for this smaller pouf in my shop: HAND CROCHET POUF KIT

Hi Karen,
thanks for your comment. I’ve never used that yarn, so I’m not sure how it crochet’s up. I would try with one strand and then go to two strands if it’s not thick enough. The yardage comes with the pattern – it was 175 yards of the super big stuff.
