Teaching At Vogue Knitting Live Pasadena 2016

I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be teaching at Vogue Knitting Live Pasadena next month, May 13-15. It is an amazing event and you should register now! I can’t tell you how much fun I had in NYC with my classes last winter. This session, I am teaching a Fabulous Floor Pouf Class and an Oversized Floor Pillow Class. My students loved walking in with no knowledge of arm knitting and then dancing away with a finished, beautiful project. It’s going to be so much fun! I would love to see you there!

Vogue Knitting LIVE Pasadena will be a jam-packed weekend featuring:
• More than 150 classes
• shopping in the Marketplace with more than 70 vendors selling hard-to-find fibers, accessories, and patterns
• knit-couture fashion shows
• a cocktail reception with singer/songwriter Siedah Garrett, who will entertain attendees with a rendition of “Man in the Mirror”
• a health area where you can get hand and back massages, make and take stress-relieving hearts and lemons, and share why you love knitting

One of my favorite makers in the whole world will be there, Jacqui Fink from Australia! She will be selling and demonstrating with her gorgeous yarn, K1S1. I used her yarn to hand crocheted this heart above. Remember this video from Valentine’s day?

Her work is just fabulous! and to top it off, she is one of the nicest people I’ve met in a long time. She and I connected instantly. We felt like we had been living parallel lives on opposite sides of the world.
