The depth and variation in this yarn is absolutely delicious. It is lofty and wooly in the best of ways! My favorite of this group has to be the indigo:
If you are just dying to know how to make one yourself, and I know that you are, I have a video tutorial in the editing room as I write. Also there are kits for these cowls with patterns and how-tos here. But! I am also teaching arm knitting locally at Woolworks Yarn shop in Baltimore this fall. There are two dates for this class, both November 17th at 10am and December 15th at 10am. If you’re in the area, come get all yarny with me and learn how to make this lovely cowl. Until then, keep warm and cozy.

(P.S. Could you make a tuturial or give an explanation how to arm-knit? I’ve tried to arm-knit, but it didn’t really work.)

Hi Hannah! Thanks so much. I’m editing the video tutorial now! Will try to post soon.

Shanna Layton says
how do we make them??
anne says
Hi Shanna! I’m doing the photography for the tutorial this week! Keep a look out. the video quality wasn’t good enough for my taste! Hold tight!!

Is the video up yet?? I love how chunky your pattern is compared to most that I find on the internet which are very “hole-y”

HI! Okay, I had a bit of delay on the arm knitting tutorial, because I’ve been involved finalizing a book deal! YAY!! An arm knitting and finger knitting book. I wasn’t allowed to share an arm knitting tutorial until things got settled, but I’m happy to say, now I can!! I’m going to do a step by step photography tute, because I think there are too many videos and sometimes they are hard to follow. Keep your eyes out in the next week. I’ll explain how to make it look full!!
