I’ve been seeing scallops pop up more and more again, lately. The A2 Collect Cabinet and the Spectrum Scales Throw Pillow, both of which I love, are brand new. I think scallops are a shape that have to be done in the right proportion and used in the right way, otherwise, it can go terribly wrong. Searching for images of this shape dredged up some pretty awful scallop implementation in design. Some of it was so awful, I almost didn’t do this post, but I adore the items above. What do you think? yea or nay?
