You may have noticed this, but I did manage to let it (the blog) go a little this summer. I tried to release all expectations I have of myself and of this blog and just enjoy this warm, sunny moment in time.
We rambled, jogged and skipped on long neighborhood walks–destination the library, a bagel or something cool to drink.
We savored lattes with beloved family and old, dear friends.
We got a glorious at-home-month with my crazy, nfl-working-all-the-time husband. We dug our feet in the sand, sipped margaritas and stayed up till 3am (okay, that without the kids).
We hit the pool, the beach, the road, and (only occasionally) each other . . .
We absorbed fresh mountain air and braved icy snow melt.Finish Fifty projects on hold. Though I recently finished three of them (more on that to come), plus two other very cool DIYs that I think you're gonna love. I hope you all had fabulous summers filled with love and adventure.
