Fabric Owls Featured in Ariadne at Home
Do you remember these? I published a tutorial for these sweet owls on Design*Sponge last year. Well, a gorgeous Dutch interior design print magazine called Ariadne at Home picked up my project and featured it and my website in their November issue. What a beautiful magazine. Isn’t the spread charming? 
I’m in such wonderful company with projects from Design*Sponge, Fellow Fellow, Craft and Creativity, Style Me Pretty and Little Things Bring Smiles–such lovely, inspired blogs each and every one. I love the images in Ariadne at Home. Look at these stunning crocheted ornaments featured in their December issue.
Anyway, seeing these little owls pop up again made me happy because I had given all the ones I made away to friends. To make them, I used recycled soda boxes for the owl bodies and wings and fabric from discarded sample books to dress them up. Being in a holiday mood now, I can’t help but picture these snowy white owls hung with a sweet red ribbon from a green garland for a gorgeous holiday window. Won’t you try it and send me a photo?
