I have such a soft spot for a pretty bow. I love the bracelet from early on in the series, and I think I just might love this ring even more. It is so sweet, it warms me when I see it. This is another simple piece of jewelry to make, like the flower ring. Sew up the ring, tie the bow, attach it and your done! The full diy with photos, especially directions for a perfect bow, is below.

5/8" ribbon (6" or so)
Elastic headband (2" of it)
Time: 20 minutes
Sew the piece of a elastic in a ring, making sure you go through the elastic part of the band. Sew a number of stitches to make sure the elastic is secure.
Finish off the thread and the ring is done.
Time to tie the bow. Here are the directions to make a good-looking bow. First, make two loops.
Voila. I would sew it on to the ring with its long tails still attached, the more you handle the bow, the more the edges will fray a tad, so wait to cut them.
I went cross-country skiing today - so lovely and such a great heart-pumper. I love the sun twinkling on the snow, breathing hard, and smelling crisp air. Feeling quite re-energized.
